This portion of pictures were of the dessert/appetizers. If you look behind the cupcakes, the hot food was on the other counter. We had chinese food, chinese chicken salad from Rascal's, homemade cupcakes (I did not want a cake), fresh fruits, homemade finger jello (Babydot, speaking of jello, I wanted my friend Julia to try & make rainbow jello but she was afraid to), homemade mochi, a homemade cheesecake..etc etc I guess you can say there was a lot of personal touches to the food! It was SOO good.
I took a few pictures of the tables decorated with onesie cookie bouquets. We baked, painted and wrapped the cookies individually (the day before) and made a bouquet out of them. They turned out nice. The little airplane are models of planes that Dave made to add to the table to "decorate" since the shower theme was biplanes/warplanes. These planes were so cute. They're called egg planes b/c the body of the planes are the size of an egg...Dave assembled, built & painted these planes in 2 weeks. He is a modeler so these planes weren't just snapping them together. Each plane took over a couple of hours each night to become what they are when they were finished. Model building is one Dave's hidden hobbie/talent that many people do not know about. So for now pictures from before the shower...
