Now? He is so fun & happy. When he is awake, he just lays there, talks to himself and sucks at his hands or the blankets. When he's tired of waiting for us to get him, he'll holler at you or start to fuss. When you finally come to his calling and sees you, he has the biggest smile that just melts your heart, his feet kicks with excitement, he coos and squeals and his arms are all wide out and ready for you to pick him up.
If you talk to him and gurgle w/him, he gurgles back, and "talks" to you. If you make silly faces and silly noises, he sorta mimics you but definitely responds by smiling and gets all excited w/his kicking feet. He coos a lot and just makes all these baby noises at you when you pay attention to him and play with him.
He likes to be upright and doesn't like to be cradled too much. He'd rather be up over your shoulders and look around. If he's tired, then he wants to be swaddled, held and nuzzles his face into your chest til he falls asleep. He definitely prefers to sit up but he's not quite strong enough to sit up. If he's propped in the boppy pillow, he'll pull himself to sit up and end up being slumped over!
His favorite thing is his pacifier, what I call the Mouth Plugger. Some of you call it a binky. He also loves his helicopter blanket. It's velboa material, soft and fuzzy. I swaddle him in it every night and it just knocks him out for the night. During the day if I have it wrapped around him, he'll pull the blanket up to his face so to have it touching him.

Tummy time is not his favorite thing to do. (putting baby on their tummy a few minutes a day to strengthen their neck muscle and to "unflatten" their head). I don't do it much b/c I don't have Kurt laying on his back when he sleeps. I had all my boys sleep on their sides so to avoid the flat head problems that most babies have. I have had no issues or problems and so far, Kurt's been ok too.
I love that he responds and can see things. He is enjoying his Fisher Price Boppin Gym and kicks the heck out of the ball to get the monkey face to swing up and down and play music. At about 1 1/2 months, he started to grab his hands and put them together. It almost looks like he's praying. His hands is the 2nd thing he sucks on when he doesn't have his pacifier in his mouth. He is starting to reach out for things and most recently noticed his hands and stares at it in front of him. The look he has is, "Whoa, what are those in front of me?!"
Next toy will be the Fisher Price Precious Planet Jumperoo. Can't wait to assemble it and see him jump in it. A lot of moms say their child LOVES the Jumperoo. I just hope Kurt will like it too.
He eats every 2 hours but at night after 10pm, he'll sleep for about 5 hours and get up for a feeding. When he was on the other formula, he was constantly fussing, crying and just not settled at all. It was awful. We were soo worn out and tired. I had crying spells during the day and dthe whole evening. one could call it colic at onre point but the crying was so sporadic, we knew it wasnt colic. We just knew we were overwhelmed & felt bad for him.
He is growing as I have been putting away his NB clothes and washing n putting 0-3 months clothes now. (waaah)
His brothers Brad, Kyle & Bryce just loves and adores him. They offer to feed, watch and carry him all the time. Kurt is easily amused by all three of them too. It's just amazing how much things have changed since he was born. He just brings us pure joy, fun & laughter. I know as this month flies by, it only means more milestones and even more things to look forward to.For now, I'll continue to try and videotape him, take pictures of him and just take it all in...
