Miley Cyrus and no seat belt? GIMME A BREAK!

Talk about crappy journalism. See article here. I can't believe that there would be news or media attention on the fact that Miley Cyrus didn't wear her seatbelt in one scene of her latest 3D movie. The article even states that we should be concerned b/c of the large number of people that get killed from not wearing seatbelts! We? We should be concerned? Gimme a break. This is where there are too many do gooders trying to step in our family lives and tell us how to raise our families, what to feed our kids, and control our thermostats in our house! Ok so there are some families that do need help but that's another topic, another blog, another time...
First of all, it was a MOVIE, not a documentary, not a seat belt training course or driver's training. So Miley Cyrus didn't wear her seatbelt! If it bothers anyone that much, use that example to remind your kids to always wear their seatbelt. How difficult is that?!? Why put it out in the media and blame Miley for setting a bad example? Just because she's a tv/movie star and teen idol? Well, parents, this is where it is our responsibility to teach our kids to diffrentiate what is right and wrong and what is reality. We are in charge of teaching them moral and values too! It's not up to the movies and the media to teach our kids!
If an accident were to happen and a child gets injured, it wouldn't be surprising (after all we are in California) if a parent was to sue. Why? Because their daughter saw that Miley didn't put on her seatbelt in the movie, therefore, their daughter did exactly like Miley. Because she didn't put her seatbelt on, she got injured and it is Miley's fault. Shouldn't it be, why didn't the parent, check to see if their child had her seatbelt on? Shouldn't it be the parents' fault? It's not the movie or Miley Cyrus' fault, is it? Or is it? It might just be only b/c we have our media to thank for it.
Lastly, Ask any child who saw the movie if Miley wore her seatbelt in the scene where she is getting inside of the back of a Range Rover. They'll tell you they probably don't know b/c they probably didn't even notice....As for any of you parents that went to see the movie, did you notice she didn't put on her seat belt? My point exactly.
