Names...

What a frustrating task-naming the baby ...We went to Borders a couple of weeks ago and looked at 100,000 baby names book. We decided that if the baby is a girl then we definitely have K names for a girl but not for a boy. The letter K just looks better for a girl than for a boy. Lots of K names for boys are what should be a letter C. Caden, Casey, Carson, Carter, Colby, Connor...the K in place of the letter C didn't look right. i have to say Kyle is our only favorite name and that is my son #2's name so that's taken. So we looked at B names. Well I only like Brennan but Dave doesn't necessarily like it. When my husband has no comments it usually means no comments and not necessarily any interest. So no B names that we can agree on. Being frustrated I just threw out the B or K name idea and decided to just go through the WHOLE book from A to Z and pick out a name and write them down. So these are my picks for boy names (mind you we have girl names picked out already but will reveal on another post) Girls are soo much easy to name! So here's my pick (in no particular order) Brennan, Scott, Derrick/Derek, Garrett, Eric, Devin/Devon, Jake, Riley, Drew, Jeremy, Trevor, Dylan, Max, Nate, Spencer, Peyton, Brady, Ryan, Preston, Reece. I was so proud of my list. I figure there would be at least ONE name that Dave would like. Well? Dave looked at that list and guess what? No comments either. Our child remains nameless.... I guess we have to wait on 08/08/08 to confirm what we are having then maybe, just maybe we can decide on a name.
On a different note, did you know on 8/8/88 the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson gave birth toone of her daughter? I somehow always remember 8/8 and think of her. Of all things to remember huh? Yeah I am odd like that. I remember numbers...phone numbers..birthdays..license plate numbers... Dave calls me Rainman Jen sometimes. ha!
