We get to find out and confirm what we are having on 08/08/08. I thought it would be awesome to name the baby in honor of 08/08/08, the Olympics in Beijing! So the name I came up with?
Bei Jing Gammell
Love it? Awwe c'mon!
I would be crazy to do such a thing and my parents would think I've lost my mind too. It would be a proud way to honor my chinese heritage though at least? No? ok. I agree with you. I guess one can say I'm tired of trying to come up w/a name for our baby. Maybe after tomorrow we will be able to start coming up w/some names. Also tomorrow, my friend, Fansy and I are going to spend the afternoon at Babies R Us and register for the rest of the things I'd like to put on our registry. It's going to be fun zapping at things left & right! At least I know to zap either pink or blue!
Last week Dave was away at Osh Kosh, WI camping out for the EAA Airventure. I am so glad he's home. His flight was delayed due to severe weather and tornado warning too. He was in Chicago waiting his flight when all the sudden the alarms at the airport went off. An announcement over the loud speaker instructed everyone to stand 40ft away from the terminal windows and to take cover. A tornado watch was announced. Tornado in Chicago?!? Yikes. Severe thundershowers closed down O'Hare airport and Dave was at Midway airport. I checked the weather and looked on the map and sure enough, what we see here in So Cal on the rain forecast is usually color coded Green/yellow for regular rain. That's about all we get here in SoCal. On the map on Monday evening, it was RED all over the Chicago area w/very little green colors. Red is the highest it goes on the severity of the rain scale! It was raining pretty bad over there. Dave said he couldn't even see the tower outside b/c it rained so hard! All flights were delayed until further notice. What was supposed to be a flight arrival of 10:30pm became an arrival time of 1am. I just know I wanted him home. I was starting to get scared at night while he was gone. What is it about being home w/out your spouse that you cant sleep as well? How bout when you hear all kinds of noises you've never heard before? Seriously, those of you who know me, know that I have a hearing problem that I can hardly hear. (I don't wear hearing aids, but I read lips) I can hardly hear a thing! Well, apparently, during the week w/out Dave, I heard all kinds of sh*t!?! I told my friend about it and I said, "For me to be deaf , I swear I heard noises every night that I know that I have never ever heard before. What is up w/that?!" She said, "i'm just paranoid & scared and i'm just "hearing" things. I love it. I can't hear worth crapola, how is that possible? All I can say is I'm glad Dave's home, I can sleep again and I am no longer hearing things at night anymore. What a week!
Stay tuned til the next blog on the topic of, "Is it a boy or a girl?"
