My gut instincts told me not to let Bryce go with Dave to the Reno air races. The family have been sick and I worried that Bryce may get sick going =with Dave. Sorry family, nothing against you but we've been good about staying well & healhty. We've only had a cold or two to battle out but other than that, we've been healthy and doing quite well with being "flu-less" for the past few years.
I just got a text message from Dave. They're stuck in Bishop. Bryce threw up and isn't feeling good. Bryce never throws up unless he's got a high fever, has the flu or ate something that didn't agree with him. I know it's not b/c he ate something that didnt agree w/him. He usually only throws up once then feels better right afterwards. According to Dave, Bryce threw up a couple of times and said he didn't feel good. It took over 45minutes before they could get going again since Bryce was just feeling awful. He is throwing up like Sam did and Sarah did! Oy vey!
That really sucks. Now Brad, Kyle, Kurt & I have to be extra cautious. We cannot afford to be sick and missing school since we are on permits!! (going to school in another school district) Having a sick baby is the worse! Who likes to deal w/a sick baby. A baby w/the flu is even worse! Next time I will trust my instincts, listen to my mother in law (she said not to come up).
So friends, if you've been sick or anyone you know has been sick, remember, it's not after a week of feeling better that means the coast is clear! It's at least 3 weeks after! Even after a week of feeling better, you are still a carrier of the virus for another week or so and can get other people sick!
